Week 3 : Annual Student Show Competition

The Annual Student Show Competition reception will be Thursday 1/25 beginning at 6 pm Please come by to support your classmates. This show is important for our school, it establishes and shares with the surrounding community our strengths and interests as an art community. As students, it raises everyone's standards. As teachers, we love this :-) Hope to see you there.

For those of you who made it into the show, the honor can be used to help market you as an artist and can be used in your resume..Woo hoo. Congratulations to everyone who participated.

Welcome and congratulations on making it to another quarter. It is a great pleasure to act as your guide for the next 10 weeks. Remember to do your best, have fun and be fierce when it comes to creating the best work you possibly can make. Keep your eyes on the prize and be persistent, for it is your greatest power. If you need help, let me, any of the staff or your Academic Directors know.

To encourage you, refer to this site for what was covered in your class and to see what was assigned for homework. Use this site to help you stay on top of things during the quarter. You can also access the Ai email login screen at the top of the page. If there is any way I can improve this site to better help you, please let me know.

Also note that classes begin Jan. 8th and will begin 15 - 30 minutes early for classes that are held on Mondays. This is because we have holidays that fall on the Mondays for week 2 and 7.
